Accountant at Work

Having a reliable accounting team is the backbone of a Right to manage and RMC company, they are responsible for not only organising the daily income and expenditure of the service charge accounts, but they must also log and diarise all expenditure during the financial year.

We understand organising and keeping log of accounts can become tiring and a full-time job  for the director of an RTM to complete independently which is why we include this service within our management fee.

Accountant duties include but not limited to the following:

- Preparation of the year end accounts for the management company.

 

- Liaising with third party accountants to ensure all income and expenditure is logged correctly so the service charge accounts are accurate and ready to file prior to the deadline which companies house sets.

- Liaising with Property Managers to ensure the director of the management company sign the company accounts within the timeframe set by Companies House to prevent any fines.

- Allocate all incoming funds which varies from service charge payment from residents, insurance claims, reimbursement of any kind from overpayment etc.

- General account administration work.
